An interest in mosquitoes came about through having a daughter who, as the saying goes 'attracted mosquitoes like a magnet'.  She would end up covered in bites the size of dinner plates if any part of her skin was left unprotected and exposed to the little biters. Summer vacations became a family challenge to come up with best ideas to evade and outsmart the little biters. We found that it wasn't just one thing that worked, but a combination. I hope by writing about my own experiences, about what works and what doesn't, will be helpful to others in a similar situation
